The Elementary Students and Staff are working to RISE to Greatness.  Here are some of the things we have been working on. 

• RISE to Greatness

We offer a variety of unique features for a rural school district campus. Pre-K and Kindergarten are located on a separate, smaller, fully functional campus to allow them to ease into their school years. For all grades PK-4th, each grade level can have individual instructional assistants in the classroom. Students and staff have Math and Reading Interventionist Coaches on site to assist with additional learning strategies. We are fortunate to offer one-to-one technology for students and staff with updated touchscreen technology for that hands-on experience. In 2020, through a grant from Arkansas Blue Cross & Blue Shield's Blue & you program, GRES received a brand-new playground, community walking track, and outdoor basketball half-court. 

GRES has a newly renovated facility maintained by an amazing custodial staff. We also have an Occupational and Physical Therapy room to provide additional services. K-2 enrichment for all students and 3-4 grade GT for identified students. Glen Rose Elementary is grateful to have a supportive community, small class sizes, and faculty that works together across grade levels to support student success and align curriculum and learning.
