Job Title: Math Tutor (High-Impact Tutoring Initiative)
Reports to: Building Principal / Program Coordinator
Employment Type: Part-time, Grant-Funded (Contingent on Grant Funding)

Position Summary:
The Math Tutor will provide targeted, small-group and one-on-one instruction in mathematics for students performing below grade level, with a focus on the bottom 25% of learners. The tutor will work closely with classroom teachers to reinforce grade-level standards, address unfinished learning, and accelerate student growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-impact math tutoring 3 times per week during the school day.
 

Focus on foundational skills, computational fluency, and problem-solving.
 

Align tutoring with classroom instruction, pacing guides, and district standards.
 

Monitor student progress using assessments and adjust instruction as needed.
 

Maintain records of student attendance and performance.
 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required; experience in teaching, tutoring, or interventions in math strongly preferred.
 

Knowledge of math instructional strategies and interventions.
 

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
 

Commitment to supporting struggling learners and promoting student success.

Must be Certified.
